i am currently a STNA (nursing assistant) and am going to be going to school to be a medical assistant, medical assistaning pays much more. stna jobs usually start at min wage. as for schooling im not sure yet how long medical assisting takes, but stna takes about 2 1/2 weeks. uhmm job duty as an stna you basicly just wipe ass.lol you assist residents w/ adl's such as showers and getting dressed and feeding, but it is not at all an easy job, u get yelled at and hit and spit on. which is why i am changeing to something better and better paying. hope this helps!
