If you are registered as a Wisconsin Nurse Aide, can you use the certification in Illinois?
I go to school in Milwaukee and live on campus for nursing and it is required that all nursing students are CNA certified, so I did that. But the only problem is that I live in Illinois and I was wondering if you are Wisconsin nurse aide certified if you can use it in Illinois?

Some states have reciprocal agreements in which they recognize licensing in other states. My wife had a RN license in Ohio and FL recognized it. She had to be up to date with her Ohio license but once that was settled she simply paid Florida fees, took some required courses and received her RN in Florida. I would think that it is similar between Wisconsin and Illinois for your CNA license. Just make a phone call to the appropriate office in IL. They will tell you what you need.

do you know the number for becomming an actor. There was a commerical about it and back up dancer from high school musical was saying that he found his fame to hollywood in his home town and so can you.

i dunno what he was talking about, but there are TONS of places to get started here....experience is the best way to get a start. Try: Sunset Playhouse in Elm Grove Boulevard Theater in Downtown Milwaukee Off Broadway Theater in Downtown then there is always First Stage Next Act and depending on your age, you can always work at the PAC Rep or any other theater. you may start off in the box office...but sometimes, to be a star...you gotta start at the bottom and work your way up. Get your foot in the door around the area! There are so many great places to work! I work at ComedySportz, the improv comedy club downtown...which is a splendid avenue for theater

University of North Dakota or University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee? Biology Major?
I've eliminated Iowa state and two other colleges, simply because it's too expensive. I'm really in love with these two colleges but can't decided! They're very different but which would be better? I plan on majoring in Biology and then going to PA school for Physician's assistant :) Thank! Also can you give me a reason, not just UND or Milwaukee

Don't have a clue about either school (Go Sun Devils!!!) but can I recommend that if/when you apply to PA school that you make sure you get the title correct. It should be Physician Assistant without the 's. This is certainly a bone of contention within the profession. Just my .02

Relocating to Milwaukee, Wisconsin: Need Help?
Hi. Can anyone help recommend some areas to live? I would be working a few miles east of Shorewood, on 190 (or W. Capitol Dr). I don't mind commuting within 30 mile radius. I need to know a few options, as my girlfriend is looking to go to culinary school and I would prefer her have a shoter commute to school, than I would for work. I would prefer to be in an area that has close shopping and entertainment, we are both in our early 30's (and need some life around), but mostly need safe areas, where she can feel free to roam. Thanks so much!!

Well, I'm not familiar with any culinary schools in the area, so that might be what chooses your area for you. But Shorewood itself is a nice area, as are points north of there - Mequon, Whitefish Bay, etc. But of course they're all pricy. The east side in general is crowded and full of students - crime is a factor although it's far from being the "hood." Wauwatosa is a nice area, as is south Milwaukee - St. Francis, South Milwaukee, Cudahy. West Allis has good areas but a lot of it is rather redneck. Avoid the near north side, near west side and near south side. Downtown is an option as well if you're up for a condo

WISCONSIN/MINNESOTA people!?
I'm a senior in Appleton, Wisconsin right now. I have about 20 days to decide where I'm going to college and I'm absolutely torn! I'm either going to the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities or Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. My high school boyfriend that I've been dating for a year is going to whitewater which is an hour away from Milwaukee. But overall I like Minnesota better I just can't decide so can someone please give me some input if they know anything about either of these schools! Is it wrong to follow your boyfriend? Also, Minnesota is 5 hours away from my hometown and Milwaukee is only 1 and a half. I just dont know!

rank the business schools in wisconsin from the best down...?!?!?!?
Hello, I am a high school senior and want to know the best university to attend next year. I want to major in business but do not know which university is best for me. I want to know the rankings (1,2,3,4,etc) of the best business undergrad schools in Wisconsin (Madison, milwaukee, lacrosse, eau claire, oshkosh, etc...) Wisconsin - Madison has the best business school in the state. After that I'm not sure rankings matter too much. If you want the best business education without leaving Wisconsin go to Madison since you will have good professors and even more importantly a large pool of alums to network with and find a job.

hey,- my names emily... i am out on my own and working two jobs. i need a car right now i walk to work but i am going to be going to school shortly. i have 1,000 dollars set aside for a car but i would rather have a loan or have to do monthly p-ayments... my classes start in like 2 months and i dont have a car! i would rather get a used car thats like under 10,000 dollars and reliable. obviously i wont be able to buy a car around 7,000 by 2 months. i was wondering if anyone knew the easiest way for me to get a car if i have a down payment and do monthly payments. i have no credit that i am aware of and im 19. my parents arent in my life anymore. i really need some advice or if anyone has a good dealership that works with younger ppl or something. idk i need advice asap! thanks!

I live in Milwaukee and about 3 years ago when I was 21, I had financed my car thru a credit union called Marine Credit Union. There's one on 35th & St. Paul and another one on 76th & Bluemound. My parents have horrible credit so they couldnt co-sign for me so I did it myself. My interest is kinda high but I really wanted a nice car. Marine Credit Union said I was available for a $8000 or $9000 car loan. The car that I wanted cost about $8800 and I had a $1000 down payment so I had financed about $7800 thru the credit union. My payments was about $200 for the first two years but this year I've been giving them $350 a month to pay them off early. This time next year I'll have the car paid off. I cant wait
